Question about seat brackets.

Okay a friend of mine that has a Toyota Paseo is having custom brackets made so he can install his seats. Is that really necessary on the Cavalier? I didn't think it was, I figured you could make the stock bracket work. I'm not really sure how that works. I'm getting some RACTIVE Racing Seats and was just curious to as of how hard of an install it would be.

i got ractive seats and i needed a custom bracket, its not hard to make at all, u just need 4 piece of metal...and make a square out of them that match the holes on the floor and line up with the bolts on the bottom of the seat...its really easy, if u used the stock brackets the seats would be realllly high up

you want to bump, then they will bump and hit real hard and a lot good.

Thanks for the info man. Do you know about how long and how wide the pieces of metal that you used were?

That would be really helpful information.
