anyone with fiberglassed door panels have any problems with them cracking or anything because i started mine and the seem like they're gonna be very heavy.
thanks
suckin ain't fuqin, and eatin ain't cheatin'
well not to be rude or anything, but of course there gonna be heavier then what they was. From everything i have read about f/g door panels as long as you drill the holes every you should be good.
how big should be the holes??
^^^depends on the size/weight of what its holding. just eye it up. they'll be covered eityher way. big enough so the resin can seap thru, and you can glass the back of them
When glassing anything make sure the area your covering it well sanded. i'd go with 40 grit or 80g just for the glass to bite down on any cracks reinforce the back of it ..Drilling hole should be about the size of a rain drop 1/2 inch are so you want the resin to drip in but don't want the glass falling inmake sure the area is clean before yoy lay your glass..it will not stick other wise ..........if your unsure about the door cracking reinforce the back aswell hope it helps oh acetone help remove any left over resin but you have to use it while the resin is still cooking
