c/f airbag cover

I picked up one of these from the GP by Blue Cav Customs, the thing looks great! Now I just need to know how you are supposed to put it on the dash. I tried washing off the dash real good and getting it to stick w/ doublesided tape and that deffinitly doesn't work, which I kinda figured. I tried reachin steve at bcc but got no answer. If you have one how did you stick urs on!?

just keep emailing him he'll eventually get ya....but there should be a very thin backing that you peel off and it should stick just fine...

try cleaning the cover with alcohol, and let dry real good. then try the 3m tape once more. it shopuld hold, you just gotta get rid of all the oils from when you've cleaned it in the past

Yea i did use alcohol to clean it, i cleaned it real good too. It didn't come with any kinda adhesive, neither did the c/f hvac. I emailed him and sent him a pm. ill have to try again.

^^^it didnt come with adhesive??thats odd.

not sure if this is an option for you, but you could always try hot glue, which will come off if you want it to, or liquid nails if your not planning on taking it off

duct tape.. just roll it over and stick it to the back.. then stick it over the air bag cover and just push down on it..

Hahahah, trying not to use any duct tape on this car.........lol. not a bad idea i just dont want it to stick up and be able to see underneath it. I'll go out in the garage and try a few things.

Use the double sided tape and heat it up a bit with a blower before you put it on. Should make it stick better. Maybe

Dude, the answer to the car world is GE silicone II. Ask JoeDm if you need any further .org badassness. Not only does it hold to metal, plastic, fiberglass, and anything else, it is so flexible that if you need to remove it, take a flat tip and pry, that easy. Best of both worlds. Trust me. Go to your local Target or wherever that sells it. Small tube that works wonders. When you use it, spread the word too, because I love that god damn stuff.

^^^thats why i suggested hot glue. it wont ruin anything, and when your done, you can peel it off like it was never there. dosent leave any behind
