Blue Cav Customs will be releasing a new line of carbon fiber Sunfire parts within the next week!
Here is what I need from you guys to make this happen:
How does the SF dimmer with fogs differ from the one without fogs? Does the hole for the dimmer wheel stay where it is or move? (I have the dimmer with fogs in hand) DOes the dimmer for the 02 Fire fit other years?
Difference between 02 fuse door and others?
WHat years have different gauge faces?
HVACs same as Cavs?
Glove box handles same shape for all years?
Any other parts transfer between Cavs and Fires?
Let's see some pics - anyone who helps me iron all this out will get a discount on their Sunfire GP order. I will offer all of these parts in CF and brushed alum.

hvacs and glove box handles should be the same the hvac in my moms 00 sunfire and my cuzs 98 sunfure are the same as my hvac in my 96 cavalier and so are the glove box handles.
I know the 00 fire i have has the same Hvac controls as the cavy's
need c/f for the part that goes behind the door handle on th 03+. i vinyal'd it yellow for now but want it c/f'd. on the dimmer all i know is its an egg/oval shape

Yellow Rimmed One, I think the door inserts are the same on the Cavs and Fires. Check out my Preorder GP and take a look.

Steve, the door inserts on the Sunfire are a totally different shape, in fact there's no "flat" spots on the Sunfire door hadle inserts. You need those as well? I got 4 (4 doors).

I'm going to post pics on Monday of what I have and then we'll compare notes. Just want to be 100% sure so no one winds up with parts that do not fit their year.

The filler panel would be sweet (two setups, one with reverse lights (95-99), and those without (00-02)
Here is what I have...from an 02 Fire
I need to know what years these parts will fit. I also need to know how the Fire without foglights differs from this one.
I now leave this thread to the Fire owners. If you guys really want CF parts offered for your cars, I am here to make them for you. I won't have a lot of time to maintain this thread but I'll check in every day or so and let you know when the templates are ready for the 02's. Hopefully by the time I finish those, we'll know who else can use them.

PS -I Need More Parts! Anything flat that you guys can think of. Can't do anything like trunk bezels etc as tehy require 3D modeling which I can't do yet.
fuse door and glove box fit my '97. my dimmer knob is sideways (no fogs). can't get any pictures though, not anywhere near my car
OK so we have determined that the fuse door and glove bax latch will fit from 97-02.

and that dimmer switch is off a gt correct?
Cause on my 02' sedan it has the ets button there. Roughly the same size button.
I believe the hvac panels are the same between cavs and fires, only difference is the years. 00+ vs pre 00.
I'll see if I can get some pictures up tonight.
^ eh. my years on the hvac panels are off. the 02 is different than the 04 and 05.
Maybe you can do something with this. Automatic shifter bezel on an 02'
not yet - still trying to get a complete list of year compatibilities and a few more pics from Fire owners. We're on the right track though.
Did you send that cluster to Buzz122 separately?
