What up guys. I need some suggestions on where to go with my door panels. I mounted pods for my speaker and tweeter in the lower part of my door panel. Wrapped em in cloth and applied a coat of resin.
My problem is, for some reason I forgot to test fit the panels on the doors with just the cloth before I resined them. So when I went to fir the door panels after the resin dried, the part of cloth above the pods comes in contact with the edge of the glovebox and with the edge of the lower part of the dash.
So I need suggestions. Should I...
1. Cut the piece of cloth out of the doorpanel that is hitting and put in a new piece of cloth and shape it so that it won't hit.
2. Remove the lower part of the dash, and reshape the piece so that it will fit with the door the way it is.
I really like the shape of the door panels, and how they are turning out, which is why I really dont want to cut that up and modify it. If anyone has any other suggestions or ideas, I'm open. Thank a lot.

in my experience of fiberglassing you should actually just cut the bad peice out and put a new fiber peice in it actually wouldn't be that hard and @!#$ if you were really darring you could tape where the dash is touching the pannel and when you resin your glass close the door and let the dash hit the resined peice and wala perfect fit.
