door panel question
Tuesday, April 04, 2006 4:51 AM
i know everyone says that can just break off those little tabs to get the cloth part off of the door, but i was wondering how people were doing this, i am using a screwdriver and it pops off in little pieces and dosent work too good at all, does anyone have a better method, im trying to get all the cloth off my door ie the armrest part and the holders in the bottom, thanks.

I just took the cloth out with a lot of muscle! There are a couple screws (why???) holding the cloth down on the bottom part. But other than that, just pull hard.

on those type pieces i just use a heat gun to melt them then pop them off, then when i want it to go back i just reheat the tab and mush it back down.
