I was wondering if you could buy carbon fiber sheets or strips anywhere. Just normal flat peices of cf that already have the resin on them so its hard. Doesnt have to be big sheets. I want to basicaly make templates for my car and cover or overlay things myself. Thanks
I found some on Ebay a few years ago - they had thin, flexible sheets and also hard sheets - the company made RC car chasis. Ill have to look at their company name if I remember tonight.

i ve seen them at this car place out here in california, the place is called super autobachs, they were a little bigger then a sheet of paper and they were hard.

i would ask blue cav customs, he uses if for his overlays i belive.
I was gonna say...for the cost of buying a sheet and all of the HOURS of getting the templates right, etc - you should just buy the parts from someone like me. Not to mention having to cut it all out by hand.
Not that I don'ty think you can do it, but it will maybe save your sanity.

there is a company that sells sheets of it and you can cut it to any shape and its real CF i will try to look for the name if i remember. it was on street fury on G4. i saw it at SEMA and its quality stuff.
go to a hobby store i have boughten it there before and it looks really sweet. i made a chassis for my mini t out of it and it broke before i could even drive it ; looked real nice though sitten there all broke and crap...lol
