ok, I know a lot of people have the dash part up by the wondow crack up on them... Does anyne have a junk newer cav that can just that piece off the dash? I have a guy who is going to make an aluminum cap to go over it (can be anodized, painted, etc) but I don't want to pull my entire dash apart or cut it off mine. if you have one, shoot me a PM and let me know wha you want for it

i could use one my 01 cav just cracked on me.
nothing yet, still looking for a dash I can get to use as a template/form. The metal caps will not be cheap at all. unlike fiberglass or plastic caps, I don't know anyone who can make a mold for this so each one would have to be formed/welded/sanded/finished... that's a lot of work. I can look into getting cheap plastic caps made from one of our china companies.

I have the plastic cap similar to the Cavalier piece outta a Sunfire (its removeable in a Sunfire). If I can find that Grimor would you want it? Fits the same, you just have to ignore (or cutoff) the mounting tabs.
