has anyone done this w/ a cavalier jus curious and if you have pics that would be cool except mine woudl be 2 12's sealed.... thankx..

although this is the interrior forum, this should be in audio & electronics. someone just did a system like that but the amp is in the back and the sub is on the side.

You would need a lot of room for 2 12's sealed, don't know if the trunk its big enough.

all you need is your standard sub box for two 12's and then just cut out a cover panel for it. its pretty simple.

so would i have to cut the carpet off of my 12 box? or wat i didnt make it i bout it @ the flee market this guy makes em if so then that would be cake.. thanks..

Just buy some more carpet for the panel.

u shouldnt have to. u can do it a couple ways depending on how u want. u can make your trim piece, cut the hole for the sub, take your sub out of the box. screw your cover piece to the box, put your cover material on the cover piece and throw the sub in. or u can leave the sub in the box with carpet, then cut a shape around your sub area, wrap it in a material that contrasts with the carpet and mount it up.
