Hey everyone... im just curious if anyone has every used the spray dye for their interiors??? Ive heard it works well, but i wanted to know what you people have to say, i have tan interior and want to do it all black and blue so this is why i am asking. Please let me know
I used it on my headliner - came out fine.
How about on say the rear seat and front door armrests? When I put the ITR seats in I want to dye them black to match - minus the red stitching unless I figure that one out. I know I've read that you shouldn't use the dye on seats as it might not last but it's the rear seat we're talking about. I seldom if ever have anybody sitting in the back.
^^^ i would would think it would work but, would take quite a few coats and i would let them dry untouched for no less than a week in a place were there gonna get plenty of air.
Where can i get this stuff though? ive looked online and havnt found much..... any brands you suggest??? and how much will it cost about?
I'd like to know a good brand too...
I was thinking of just hitting up the local craft store they should have some there...
i used this stuff got it at autozone. 5 or 6 bucks a can
Did you remove the liner from the car when you dyed it?
Does it feel hard and kinda crusty, like some poeple get when they dye the liner?
1. yes, i removed it
2. a little bit but if you brush it lightly it will make it soft ( it only gets stiff from excess dye, brushing it lightly wont hurt the color)
