well im thinking of wrapping some of my interior peices in some nice black suede (lower dash, headliner and lower part of the sunfire door panel) just wondering if any one has aoms god tips/tricks on helping it stick and also some tips on wraping it. any help would be apprecited.
well, never used suede, but ive wrapped with about everything else, and i prefer to use contact cement instead of adhesive spray!. then hot glue and a few staples for around the edges always works for me.
suede could be tough though with the adhesive(whatever you chose to use) soaking thru the suede.
just start in the center, or close to, then work your way outwards, making sure you pull tight when you attach the 2. dont leave any slack or you will notice it later!
good luck, and post pics

and lots of practice. Also before wrapping something, take the part off and wrap the suede around the object and see where the dificult areas are going to be. This will help tell you if you can wrap them.
EXAMPLE:
Lets say you wanted to wrap your a pillar, take it off and then wrap the suede around it (no adhesive nothing just a trial), you would notice that the top part would be hard as hell to wrap. Then you would see if there would be a way to stretch that area to get rid of any wrinkles. If you think you could pull it off spray down some adhesive and go at it the way planned.
Thats a good start. But the most help anyone could give is you just getting in there and doing it. That is by far the best way of learning. Good Luck AND PICS!!!

I used Krylon spray glue on my suede and no leak through.
The only advice I woudl have it take time and practice wrapping for sure. Also LET IT DRY OVERNIGHT and use LOTS. especially around the places you have to cut like around the interior light and the hanger posts ( if putting them back in.) leave youself a lot of room for going inside visor dip ins and such. Make sure you use an extra bit of spray around the opening and in the dipd for the visors etc. I find that mine is not sticking in a couple of places.
Biddest thing is patience and lots of glue.
Good luck.
