I would like to get a racing wheel but dont know what to look for?? Is there anything specific to look for that will fit a cavalier?? such as size or
It all depends Rob,
How comfy of a ride do you want. If you have stock suspension and you want comfort but still some low pro looks go with something like a 105 60R17
Is you want safe cause like me you have children and live where it gets rainy and wet then hot and sticky then two days later its cold as hell find an all season 60. Cooper and Toyo both make one.
If you want sheer racing looks and do not car about comfort you could go with a 225 40 R18. That is the biggest I have seen on a cav/fire so far.
Some of the other guys may disagree with me but the best over all would be something like a 215 55 R17. Comfy and stable with low profile looks.
Some nambrands to think about would be
Toyo, cooper, falcon for rubber and motegi are one of the most popular rims out there. Something like a MR7 Gunmetal.
Thats my 2 cents. Some of the more knowedgable(sp) guys could probably help better than I can but I figured I would take a stob at it.
^^Umm, he is talking about steering wheels, reason it's in the interior forum
Rob, you need to get a steering hub designed for GMs and of course a wheel that matches the bolt pattern (typically a five or six bolt) of your hub
DJTorello, LMR, El Fuego, whatever name he uses is a liar, troll, and fraud

Fastest 01 Kia in 97, check out his great pics and comments as well
i just got a momo hub with a wheel and i would reccomend that. it has a quick disconnect feature that is pretty cool.
If you're going to do a wheel swap, you need to order a Hub Adapter that will fit our cars. If you want a good one at a good price, get it from ebay. 64$ shipped. Just search "2401" in ebay and you'll run across usually one or two hubs from ebay stores. Next, the wheel. This is the easy part, shop around, check a+ and other sites of the sort until you find what you want, just make sure it's a 6-bolt wheel. You're set from there.
Woooo bubbies.
Hey Lemur, got pics of it installed yet?
Gotta keep on livin', L-I-V-I-N
i have pics of my old one on my cardomain(in registry)
i got me a new Tenzo wheel recently.
if you find a 5 hole wheel u like, you'll need the Grant adaptor(found at autozone or the like). if you find a 6 hole wheel, you'll need the Momo like stated above. keep in mind you'll lose both airbags if you swap wheels.
RIP Saint ........ JBO
no pics of it installed yet. I have a couple little parts to put on the car and then i want to take some pics of the whole car.
