What's up J-Body, I have a quick question for you guys.....i reallie Dont know anything about Brackets for the seats tho..my question is: im getting some aftermarket Seats soon ( Toms Motorsport Racing) seats..im wondering if I kan use my original Brackets for the new seats or if I just need to get totally new brakets? Also..how would I go abouts removing the Original Brackets to get the New seats in!?!? lol...if anyone kan help me or if there is a link/html or a guide on howto that would b awsome..

no matter what method you go with you will have to do some custom work. honestly when instally my seats i decided to make my own so that they sit at the right height.
i think shifted had posted a how-to somewhere on here.
but in a round about way:
1/4" thick flat bar from lowes'
square stock tube i believe it's called. it has all the holes in it. ( i think i used 1 inch thick)
bolts
good drill bits
cutting lubricant. i just used a generic wd40
saw zaw or some other method to cut metal.
and some ingenuity (sp?)
someone will probably post the link to the how-to so no use in me posting all kinds of stuff.
but when drilling the flat bar be sure to go nice and slow and keep it clean and lubed.
