hey guys,
I was wondering if a vert cavalier floor carpet is the same as a coupe?
Went and ordered some threw jason but the company he was buying from only had a coupe and wasn't sure if its the same.
Thanks.
They are different... but ever so slightly. At least on the third gens...
The frame rails on either side of the car are wider, so the carpet has to curve up different. Also the back 'shelf' where the rear seat sits.. there's a big brace before it, so the shape isn't right on the coupe carpet.
Plus there's at least one extra hole in the coupe carpet, where the driver's seat belt attaches to the floor... on the convertible, it's on the seat.
I tried coupe carpet... returned it, and got the right stuff instead.

^^ thanks lenko.. u do rule!!! lol

?? The seat belt attaches to the seat on the drivers side of my Sunfire coupe...
Ok, I stand corrected.... the passenger side seatbelt
On coupes, it's usually on the floor. On convertibles, it's attached to the seat brackets like the driver's side is (on all cars)
^^ mind me asking were u got it from?
Yeppers the seat belt on the passenger side is mounted to the floor in the coupes.
I got mine from Ebay.. seller was called stock_interiors... it was listed as Cavalier carpet, but they would make it for whatever year and model you had... you pick colour too. i went with plain ol' black...
