Some how I want to wire them up to the button inside the door, near the door hinges.
I want them to light up automatically when the door is opened and then go off when shut, While being able to turn them on/off on my command by a toggle switch in the dash, wether or not the door is opened or closed. I heard I need a relay?
Do those eyelids always come separate or can you buy hoods like that with the eyelids already molded to it?
wire it to your interior lights and then jsut add a second switch
You could have some fun and wire in a relay. The negative trigger on the dome light will switch the relay, and complete the circuit. All lights will turn on when your dome light is on
So either you open the door, or press the button to turn your interior lights on, hehe.
Yeah, I was talking about yours, I'm thinking about doing the CavFire deal. The only way I'll do it is if I do those eyelids with that front bodykit, that looks so good.
i would hook it throught the dome light cuz most ppl have it so when ur doors open the interiour light goes on any way so ya that would probley be the ezest
^^ However, the dimming effect of the light can blow the transformer on the neon tubes. The pin-switch/relay is the best route.
tru never thought about it hmmm more work that route tho but would be worth it idk
3 extra wires and a relay... not too bad.

Mine's been hooked up like that for about a year or so. Streetglow gold series (seperate transformer) and running 4 cathodes. Works awesome.
