You can make them, but it really isn't recommended. You have to make sure it is all centered properly, weather sealed properly, wires/connections work, etc. Most people don't even recommend to out in an aftermarket sunroof/moonroof if the car didn't have one stock due to issues like that, but more power to ya if you really want to go through with it.
i don't want it to be able to open. just a window.
weatherproofing can't be too tough.. caulk it up..
ok then whats the point if it doesnt open? thats like having windows that dont roll down
kinda like a in car sky light?
if you are planning on this please remember to reinforce the roof and if you dont do that your going to have MAJOR PROBLEMS with your sunroof like leaking, not sealing right etc...

it will basically be a sky light.
what steps do i take to re-inforce the roof?
u dont need to reinforce the roof, when gm made the cars they didnt make the ones with sunroofs have stronger roofs, they were all produced with no sunroofs, and then it was added as an option
so no u do not need to reinforce the roof if you do this, but it does sound like a pain trying to center it and seal it and everyting
then how are u going to keep it from stinking in there? you gotta reinforce some how
Opening Soon Kustom J's
centering will not be a problem as i'll be painting the car AFTER i get this done. (no worries about marking up the roof.)
so i'll measure, mark, measure, mark, then cut to get it in the right spot.
keep it from stinking? you mean keep rain from pouring in?
i'm gonna go to a glass shop for some weatherstripping + advice
