This one is for SNDSGOOD. Thanks for putting the suede idea in my head. Today I took all of the vinyl out that I had put in and replaced it with suede. Wow, what a difference. I do not think I did that bad of a job at putting it in though, but always could be better. I will post pics next week, as I am recoloring the top part of the door panels to gunmetal grey. Now if I can find a fabric dye that is gunmetal grey, then the map pocket suede piece will change colors to gunmetal grey. But SNDSGOOD, thank you for putting that into my head man. Damn it looks a hell of alot better than with the vinyl.

looks good how did you get it to stay?
3M Super 77 adhesive spray to get the suede to stay on the arm rest, then inside the groove where the insert goes, a very liberal amount of hot glue. More hot glue than you would think to use normally. Has to be very liberal or it will not stay in there.
