I have searched far and wide for the answer to this question Soooooo you can get mad if you want lol In a 1998 cavalier how do you switch the hvac and radio location around . Meaning how can I put the radio where the hvac is currently and vice versa

I think you can but might have to cut out a metal support behind the radio or HVAC.
that sounds like custom work so make something up...
Swap dashes or custom are your options... no easy way around it.
