Hey peoples,
I have a slight problem, I was driving today, and the door to my glove box fell open, then the little latch thing that holds it shut sprung out into my backseat. Thank god I have no friends and nobody was in the passenger seat. Anywho, I was looking at buying a new door, or maybe just the latch part, but I have no clue what part number to order from GM parts direct. If anybody has the diagrams that GM makes with the part number on it that I could get the part number from I would be much appreciated
Oh my. O.k all cars have a V.I.N number write it down head over to your local dealer and give it to the guy at the parts counter and tell him what your looking for he should have it on his computer
Or.......... head over to the scrap yard and pull one out of a cavy (just the latch) its two philips head screws and they (might charge you 5 bucks) The dealer will cost you $40

Definitely check out a junk yard or ebay, you'd have to be nuts to go through a dealer for a glovebox door or latch.
got one from a junkyar, cost me 21 bucks. It was alot easier to change the latch out then I thought it was going to be. Thanks for the help guys
