If I'm installing an aftermarket wheel am I able to take the axle shaft out or do I need that to turn the wheel? Because I have a quick release hub but there's no hole to fit the shaft.
Stop what you're doing. Put the quick release down for a while. You need to get a hub adapter from MOMO or Grant. Count the number of holes on the front of your steering wheel. There will either be five or six. If there are six holes, you need to buy MOMO part number 2401, and if there are five holes, you will need to buy the Grant part number 3196 (pilot also sells the same part as SW900). The Grant and Pilot parts are available a most autoparts stores, but the MOMO you need to find online, but start by contacting Jason @ APlusperformance.com. If you got the quick release with your wheel on ebay, chances are you need the MOMO part, as most of those wheels have 6 holes. Hope this helps.
Gotta keep on livin', L-I-V-I-N
Wow, I'm a f*ckin idiot. I knew all about the Momo hub but I thought you just put the steering wheel on the momo hub, NOW i realize i have to put the wheel on the quick release and put the quick release on the momo hub. Wow, I can't believe it took me that long to realize that, my apologies for being so dumb. Thanks for the part #'s tho lol
