ok im interested in putting an amp in my trunk, has anyone put one in themselves and if so what am i going to need to do like remove seats or the back interior panel what will i need to do any help would be wonderful

Only mods to do is to put a hole in the grommet in the firewall for the power wire, run wires along the sides in the floor of the car (the actual part in a sunfire lifts right out.. not sure about cavy's) hide wires underneath rear seat and lsatly drill a hole in the trunk for a ground (make sure you sand all paint of the surface..... Try a search or read the sticky in the audio forum.

^^^Or you can run your wires down your center console and then lift the carpet at the end and right under the rear seat.

James, that sounds all and good and everything, but you want to have the RCAs and power far far away from each other, so on opposite sides is ideal.

Careful if you go this route, there's a sharp edge down there...
