will the 60/40 split rear seat go into the rear fold down without major alteration?

I've pondered that myself.... I have the rear seat of an 03 Cavalier, but it won't fit my convertible because the rear seat is not as wide

It's bolted to the car, instead of the bar on each side... so you'd have to cut that out and bolt it in. Then the two releases in the trunk... two spots for mounting the clips as well.... the sheet metal likely isn't the same in the trunk between 02 and 03. You'd have to figure out where to mount them.

Also... the middle seat belt shoulder part.... so I figure different sheet metal for sure...

ok i've wondered the same.. and i assume each split has their own latch so im thinkin in order for it to work a lil cutting will be needed and get the latches offthe same 03..

thats just using common knowledge of how i think its done so i may be wrong.. best bet is go to a junkyard and look..

alot of cutting and welding will be required , for the latch assembly for the top of the seats

the bottom i think bolted in using the seat belt points , but im not sure on that
