I'm having a dispute with a bunch of other people about the gauges or clear knobs in the Cavalier Technic's interior. I say that they are gauges because the car had an intercooled supercharger and also the instrument panel was silver so I would think that the gauges would be silver to match, thus explaining why they look like clear hvac knobs. I also understand that if they are gauges then where are the hvac knobs? I believe they are not there because this car was a concept, a prototype, therefore it's not finished or perfected. And would GM really go
that cheap? Or have clear knobs even when nothing else is clear? Yes, they do resemble knobs that are turned all the way left BUT, wouldn't it make more sense that they are actually the gauges needles all pointing to the far left because the car is off? Someone also brought to my attention that the gauges are "too low to be gauges and the driver would have to take their eyes off the road and look all the way down there." I find this ridiculous because that's where the radio is and that's where the gauges are in Evo MR's but they're even lower. I found this pic and other exterior shots of the Cavalier Technic on www.v6z24.com I looked for a contact email to ask them but I couldn't find one, can anybody help me out with this so it's ended?

thats most definitly an hvac, you can see the symbols, yo yes they are clear knobs....
I have another picture of the interior somewhere. They are.....clear HVAC knobs.

You don't even have to zoom. Anyone with reasonably good vision can see the icons for the controls.
Would be cool if they were gauges, though.

those are definitely the hvac knobs. gm concept cars dont have gauges unless they are for the auto show. the school i went to had a concept car donated to us. it was a 1996 pontiac sunfire 2.2 turbo automatic. the only thing special on the car was it had a gt front bumper, different interior and the turboed engine.
