check this post out and scroll down a little bit in this forum and there are a lot of posts on cluster leds and for the hvac
I've gotta agree with Timler. I want to swap LEDs into my gauge cluster in my 03 sunfire and I searched through that same thread you put the link up for and I can't find anything on the 2k and up clusters. Anything earlier than that I can find tons of info on how to do it, but all I can find about the 2k+ clusters is that people keep saying it's a pain in the ass to do. No one actually says what you specifically how to do it on a 2k+ cluster. I swapped a red LED into my shift indicator and it is waaaaay brighter. It's a 194# disc LED. They are the widest angle you can get and way brighter. I wish I could find them in green, but they only make them in red, amber, blue, and white...

from what ive read the only things i know are. you shouldnt remove the needles and i think other people have just stuck other led's in the board. i could be wrong though
I NEED a 97-99 LD9 engine harness for an auto.PM if u hav info.!!
I can change the colour of the 00-and up cluster lights for bout 60$ canadian including parts and labour shipping is extra

i believe it was boltz22 or buzzsomething that did this, he had a write up about it on here, but the easiest way is to get really bright ones and just shove em in hte holes in the back of the cluster
Jason C. - i have found green leds a lot. try ebay. there is a site that you can get them for about 6 bucks shpped for 100 of them. of course you
need resistors for them but those are cheap at radio shack. i believe you need 470 ohm resistors.
cav420 - id take you up on that but my car is a daily driver so i need the cluster in my car. thanks anyway tho. thats a good price as far as im
concerned
