Anyone else who has the Ficanza Short Shifter have any problems with it being flimsy? The pin that hold the for&aft pivot doesn't even fit all the way through... I'm thinking I may have gotten a fake shifter, not to mention the throws aren't any shorter the shift stick is just shorter. Or does Fidanza just make a @!#$ty product? I'm going to buy a B&M if this is fake.
b&m and fidanza are almost identical. I have a fidanza and mine is perfect.

You might have just got a fake that was hacked off? But then again I wouldn't know try and find pictures of the actual product on there website and compare it to it.
On a side note I just installed B&M in my car today and omg I love it

i heard nothing but good about fidanza short throws. i cant say though cuz i have a b&m
Fidanza has a 6-8 week national back order on the cavalier shifters BTW. Both Fidanza and B&M are good products.

Is it typical for the blue pin for the fore-aft pivot (that goes through the arm and housing) to not go through all the way? My shifter has so much play, it's rediculous.
who did you buy the shifter off of? looking for one off ebay and dont want to get ripped!

the one i got through b&m went through all the way. theres no play in my shifter. as tight as a virgin on prom night
I bought my fidanza from ebay and I have not had any pin problems with it. Mine does not go through all the way either but it still fits nice and snug in the housing
I think I'm going to have to rig it with the old pin and the new pin... this is crap they won't even get back to me.

Also it seems like the Fidanza is just a shirtened shifter, the throws are the same length.
By shortened I mean hacked off basically. The pivots don't change at all.
I might be buying a 350Z today so...
