I'm not really asking for pictures of your interiors, because simply it would just turn into a big "why dont you search"..ect...and thats the kind of bull that needs to stay out of my threads cause I hate lame people.
I'm starting work on my system/interior VERY soon. I'm keeping the stock graphite of the entire interior and just adding LED/Cathodes to it, so that its a bit more unique.
My plans are to add 2 12" blue cathodes to the underside of the dash. 2 4" blue cathodes to the back/under of the front seats...so that they shine in the back floor board. 1 blue LED in each of my vents, and another 12" blue cathode in my trunk.
All from Oznium.com, but my question, my friend says that their would be NO way to wire all these to the stock dimmer switch, along with wiring them ALL remotely to a switch so I can just turn them off without dimming my dash/hvac lights...would I be able too?
if your going to use cathodes (which imho are better for light output) you
can't use a dimmer it will ruin them, i would just put in a switch some were, mine is in the center console.
Ok, thanks Big Boi.
But the LED's in my vents can be wired to the dimmer?
You can wire them to your dimmer i had my car like that for some time and i never rall affected much it does cause your dash lights to be a little dimmer but its not really noticable
I have a total of 12- 12" blue cathodes wired up through my dimmer, and never have had any issues. They have been in the car for well over 2 years now, and still no problems.
You aren't really supposed to use a dimmer... it puts a strain on the transformers.
However, some people just get lucky
To answer the LED question: absolutely.

I'd go w/ 12's under dash, 12's under the front of the seat, 4's under the rear of the seat.
For LED's I'd do 2 per vent to spread the light out a bit (if you need them prewired let me know, I have a few extra blue ones around)

i would say to just use a toggle switch and wire all your lights up to your fuse and battery
