I'm working on my own simple solution on how to deal with the dash crack on Cavaliers.
I basically went to a fabric store and bought a long piece of tan vinyl, I glued the crack together using bull dog glue, its been holding it completly together for about a 2 months. So now I'm ready to cover it up. Basically I'm going to glue the vinyl onto the plastic or i'll take some thin foam glue it on first and then the vynal on top so that its plush and doesn't crimple up (imitate the dash pad design). What do you guys think? anybody have better ideas? please share!
I also thought of a vinyl sticker, flexible plastic?
I think someone on here has already made a fg piece that just goes over top of it like a cover, try searching cause im pretty sure I read that someone at one time, but your idea sounds pretty easy and simple and a quick fix good thinking!!

someone made one (winks) but it was never produced. this piece was never made.
ya i know about the piece but it never went into full production i think the guy stopped. I was thinking of fibreglassing it but its alot more work! I think my solution will work.
OH i got a great idea
I might use some velcro to hold the vinyl down as well as I will put a thin metal clip at the end of the crack closet to windshield so it doesn't come apart and push up.
Has anyone used those dash covers?? ebay ... kind of 80's 70's style
