It's a pretty 50/50 split between those who like it off and those who prefer it on. Me, I like my car with it off. It's really up to you.

I think it looks nice without the molding, but I don't think it's worth having a crease in your door skin from some @$$ who doesn't care what car they park next too.

are you the type that has to park the closest you can to go to stores? if so leave it on. if you park away from people and walk the few extra feet i say go for it. my car is going on 6 years old without a single door ding ever. one thing to be careful is that your car being so old chances are the area where the moulding is will be brighter then the rest of the car. pull it off, clean it. buff the car and see how it looks. if its noticable u may just want to put them back on.

With moldings when the car was brand new

Moldings removed right before the kit

I personally liked it better removed and everytime I see the 2nd pic I want to rip my kit off and go with the clean look again.
