Hey guys,
So a couple of days ago i tried to slide the passenger seat back to get some stuff from my back seat (2 door cavalier), but it would not budge at all. I was pulling on the lever and pushing i tried slamming it back put all of my weight on it but it did not move. The seat is stuck all the way forward on the horizontal slide, It still reclines. Anyone have any ideas or had this problem before? should i just take it out and see whats wrong? thanks
pull the seat and check it out. It's only 4 bolts.
thats goin on in my cavy right now and i have no clue what caused it but i do know that if you pull that little tab on the back to put your seat forward. pull your seat all the way forward and without putting the seat in the upright position push your whole seat to the desired position (forward or back) and then put the seat in the upright position
at least that works on my cav....but let us know what you find
this happened to my drivers side seat. check the spring. mine came off of a tab so it won't slide forward or back.
check to see if the wire under the seat came off the lever ,it goes from one side to the other to unlatch both sides when you pull your seat adjuster lever
