I liek the idea! the head unit looks crooked and it appears the fiberglass is overlapping the Hvac farther on one side than the other.

Waiting for Final product to comment if I like it or not

the speaker pod things is kinda cool!

(Insert really cool picture of my car with some catchy name or slogan here)

i do like the idea. a little rough around the edges but not bad for a first attempt. should make for an interesting sound stage.

well for a first time it looks good. The concept is different, but not sure if it's the best place to put speakers really...looks outa place.

keep at the fiberglassing, it will take a few more projects to get it right.

change intresting soundstage to horrible soundstage and youlle have it.

as long as you dont care about soundstage it is an interesting install. you just need to get the headunit level and even out the hole around the hvac its way off. then just spend a ton of time smooothing it out and it wont look to bad.

do yourself a favour go by a 5.1 deck and make those a centre channel then it will sound half decent as for the idea very interesting

even then with the angles its going to throw that center image way off and still not stage well.

Ya my mecp certs tell me thats the worst possible imaging setup, because you will hear those speakers over any in your car except subs, and if you will be using more mods or highs youll have to amp them a lot higher to get an equal " imaging spectrum"
very creative idea if its just for show though seen too many copy cats and i like the originality of that set up good idea, imaging=3 idea=10

I'm thinking that you had the idea of doing this because each person would have their own little soundstage (the speaker on the left of the console would be the right for the driver, etc), but there is not enough isolation in a car to keep you from having phasing issues. You will hear all four speakers from either seat, and since they will be hitting your ears at different times, you will get some frequency cancelation.

Not a bad attempt for your first fiberglass, though. There are issues to work out, but that's expected for a frist time project. Keep at it.
