Swapping mechanical odometer readings 95-99??? Help.

This something I could do myself, or is a special tool required. Looking at replacing cluster but would like to maintain actual mileage.

Thanks!

Its easy, just pull the back off the cluster, it comes out, pops in to the new one. Don't try it with the 2k+ or digital odometers though.

Thanks bud, just wanted to confirm that before forking out money for the new cluster.

My temp gauge is acting up, it works on and off, so I have to kinda assume it's the cluster.......I hope! If you tap it sometimes it comes to life, other times nope.

I figured it was easy, did it with my S-10, however the dealer gave me the run around on it....go figure!
