should i try to put camaro rear seats in my car for looks and to install a 7" screen in between them
do what you want. why ask others what you should do to your car. personally if it were me and my car, why swap seats from another car that arent going to match your front seats?
i was simply asking you all think that it would be worth the trouble to do because i have never done seat swaps.
p.s. my front seats didnt match the rear seats anyways. lol
if they fit, then go ahead. nothing like trying new ideas. i personally wont be going with a backseat once i start changning all of that up. havnt decided exactly how it iwll be done, but it will be a one off idea
good luck with that man im sure what ever your doing will look bad ass
ya man try that out i would love to see pics i hate the back seat in my sunfire
k i havent got time tonight but ill take a look at wat im dealing with tomarrow after work
sweet man post those pics
i will when i get something figured out like how i want to do this
lol
Not to flame, but I'd paint your kit first.
Personally I'd buy a set of racing seats that match the front ones.
I'm sure the Camaro seats will not bolt right in, so why custom build seat brackets for oem seats?
no i dont take that offensive at all
the kit i have plans to paint the whole car in the winter
and i dont know if i am doing the whole rear camaro seats thing anymore
they dont line up like i thought they did
the bottom parts of the seat dont go forward enough to cover the latch piece
so i give up already
lol
im going to buy a 10" LCD screen and mount it in the trunk so i have something to do when im bored in Autoshop class
lol

what year camaro seats are you trying? If I remember correctly,(it's been a while since I messed with F-bodies) but I think that the 93 and up rear seats are slightly larger and more upscale. If you need more depth than that, maybe try the upper seat back, with the front seat bottoms. Either way you'd still have to fabricate mounts. Our lower seats snap in, and an F-body has a single bolt on each seat bunn
