Hey guys just trying to get some ideas here.. if you dont mind could you post pics of your painted interior.. your bezel door handles.. anything goes really.. just trying to see how everyone elses turned out.. thanks!
This is mine, only the bezel and 3 vents so far. The rest is a work in progress.
It's a bit messy. The center console & HVAC bezel are both a dark metallic red. The door handle/power lock bezel is getting repainted in the same colour, and the mirror trim panel will be changed to black. Still trying to decide what I'm going to do about the vents & e-brake, because they're still that ugly charcoal.

looks great man. What type of paint did you use?

Thanks. It's primed with Rustoleum's automotive primer, colour coat is Dupli-color - Metal Specks, and the clearcoat is Krylon Triple Clear. I had my doubts but it's come out very nice. One of these days I'll pick up an HVLP gun, but I daresay my spraycan work now is almost
expertise.
I'm going to redo the HVAC bezel. I laid the clear too thick and it's got spider cracks in most corners.

Raptor, I like how you did your top dash piece
Again, thanks!
Hopefully I can get the interior 100% complete then get some nice photos of it. Every photo I post is a spot here, a spot there. hehe.

dont sand it higher then 500 the paint will not have any way to bond right to the plastic and will flake and peel later. if u want smooth start 120 then go up to 220- 350- and end with 500 wet then 120 to knock down the texture and the higher ones to smooth out and consel the marks of the lower grit. i have sprayed mulit interiors for my cars and my friend's rides and some are over 8 years old and just like day one. i like to use bulldog spary on plastic adhesive before each coat allows for better adhesion. also for a dirt free and contaminants i used 3m plastic wax and grease remover before i paint use gloves when clean n cause ur hands are greasey and dirty and will contaminte ur paint job. i know this cause im a trained/certified autobody repair and refinish expert. hope this helps u out.
