ok, this has me so confused because i have seen so many different posts regarding it. i have a set of white gauges and i want to install them but how do you go about doing it? do you remove the needles or do you slide them through the holes? can someone please answer this for me because right now i am just baffled.

Someone else would probably be better to answer this, but I think I read that 03+ you'd have to slide the needles through the holes.

If read that if you remove the needles make sure that you mark them where they were before. Or you can point the needles up and slide the gauge face on

i wasn't sure if you had to remove the needles or not i was hoping you didnt because i tried that once and the pin came out with the needle and the gauges never worked right after

do not pull the needles, unless you really know what you're doing......believe me it aint worth the hassle. i would definetly try and just slide them over and if they dont work then dont mess with them much more.

if you remove the needles on an 00+ you run a good chance of ruining your cluster. its not hard to slide over

do not remove the needles very high chance of screwing your whole cluster up... just slide the white gauges over and then you should be able to turn the ignition on and the needles will reset themselves!

On my 98 I removed the needles, and didn't really have any issues.

And the 01 I just bought it already has white faced gauges on it, I hope they didn't screw anything up...
