alright since this is the interior forum and this happened on the interior of my car i figured i could get some help here...
so i was detailing my car at the local carwash and i was driving home... i had a bottle of blackmagic tire shine (the oil type) in my backseat on the way home, well i noticed it was leaking a little on my backseat so i hung it from that "latch" in the middle of the backseat that pulls the seat out... appearantly the bottom was leaking and now i have a really large oil stain and smell in my car... does anybody know how to get it out? i tried leaning the seat forward and putting some towels between that to soak it out (putting a weight on the top of the seat for pressure. it worked, but i still have a bit of oil and a nice dark spot on the back seat...
if you didnt understand this,
i have oil on my backseat from a bottle that spilled, what can i do?
thanks guys
start scurbing boy! go to the store and get some spary and was and get to work!
haha thats what i thought....
thanks
Use a mild solution of water & Simple Green. Should take it right out. Febreeze it if you like to get rid of the odor, or use a dryer sheet in front of your vent for about a week.

i used a carpet/fabric cleaner earlier today... i detailed the whole interior... hopefully when that dries the stain will be gone... as for the febreze, worked as usual...tomorrow is wash day... the day of truth.. thanks guys
If that doesn't work, you're next step would be to shampoo the seat. Spray it with Simple Green and let it soak in, then shampoo it out. Should take it out no problem.
that stupid oil has cause me more problems than i can stand... no more black magic stuff for me... im sticking with mothers, armor all and F21
