I currently have a 2001 5 spd cavalier cluster and was wanting to swap it out for a 2000 and up sunfire 5 spd cluster, now if I do that are the km's gonna carry over from the sunfire one or is my km's recorded in my cars computer and same with the sunfires one? does that make sense? just worried about my km's not staying when I replace it with the new cluster...thanks

direct swap; mileage is stored in the car's BCM on 2k+ j-bodies, etc etc etc.
