Hey guys, i have a 99 cavalier with beige/tan interior
its really makin me not want the car anymore lol
whats the easiest and cheapest wayto convert to all black?
seats i can get covers for, carpet i can buy, but like dash, door, etc etc?

should i just go to junkyard and get black parts if available or what, i really hate that interior colour!

Welcome to my world. Easiest and cheapest way is to sand like yu've never sanded before and paint them. Short of that, gutting a junkyard car may be another alternative. If I ever get the time to scour a junker, I will probably go that route.

this colour interior should have never been an option!

well for you dash you can always go out and buy vinyl dye and use that on it. do your headrests too with that. good luck

it is soooooo easy to glass a dash, i would highly recommend that.

or just get interior from a junk yard.


It may take a few trips, but you'll eventually get all of what you need.

I plan on doing black carpet, and new seat skins myself. But leaving the rest of the interior the tan/graphite color.

So far with just the front seats in that graphite tweed seats and sunfire console, it looks really good together.
