wanting to get a tach that will fit in a pod( not a big ricer 5" one) just wondering if i would need a tach adapter for it
yes i am installing one tonight actually, its the autometer 9117, its like 80 bucks, inline with the pink wire off the coil and grey goes to the tach and ground, that easy!

MSD 8913, 70-80 bucks....
there was a post on here, or on clubcav.....and some guy said that u didnt need one.....theres a spot in the inner enginebay fusebox that has a tach option thing......the guy said just to wire the tach into there, said it worked fine for him, havent tried personally....
if your car is a 99 2.2 then yes you need one. check my cardomain page for pics of how to install the adaptor and which wire to splice into
