Or if you wanted to contact the seller of the gauges and see if they offer a 3 spd overlay for ya?

On my 2000 the automatic does not have an indicator on the dash at all. Not sure if that is also true with the 98. If so I'd say it really doesn't matter but I would go with the automatic overlay just to be safe. Do you have an indicator for your tranny or something?
i'll try contacting the company, i dont really wanna spend as much as that one ethan posted, but i will if need be, i just need to start my job up again...
Not sure on fitment of either one of those but I do recommend that company. I just ordered from them the other night and so far they have been good w/ communication and such back and forth as well as tracking numbers. Now just the waiting for the mail service
