thanks man.. and it was a dye since the dash was vynal, but dupli-color flat black dye.. i was origionally going to go with gloss black, but the glare when driving from the sun is too much for me.. plus its a little too much for my taste anyway lol.. but all that was, was pulling it, cleaning it with glass cleaner, then 3 coats of paint, then about an hour after it dried, instalation..

Ok, heres my updated pics, as you can see in the first one, the drivers side had alot of rust spots up front, passanger wasent as bad, but i rust proofed both of them, got my steering wheel painted, and all my wiring from behind the dash done, and even fixed the controls for my heat (they SUCK to do.. pretty confusing once u forget how you pulled it all apart lol) ... but more will come soon, im probably going back to work on the motor soon, but doing this also, and some better pics of the dash too.. and got the guages back in.. tell me what ya think of it so far..

lol... that dash is a B**** to pull isnt it?? lol.. and you used gloss didnt you? yours looks a little better, since mines a flat black,i didnt really want gloss though, cause of sun getting in my eyes from the reflection lol... and did you clear coat yours? is it really needed? lol

I used Duplicolor gloss black, no clear...actually, glare was never a problem for me...heat was, though....prepare for a 30-40 degree increase in interior temperature in the summer months....will still be just as cold in the winter, though....go figure.
lol yea... pretty soon i should be doin more interior.. but im workin on my motor right now... and i just figured out something kinda funny.. u missed the glove box lol... shouldnt feel bad though.. i missed the inside of mine.. not the outside though... unless you meant it to be that way? lol and i like the way u got the red vents and stuff... i think some of it was a little much.. but thats me.. i think on mine all ill do is the vents blue, as the car will be painted black.. interior black, blue neons.. stuff like that.. theme is gonna be black and blue lol
