quick simple question
Wednesday, April 04, 2007 7:37 AM
hey i have a quick simple question. Inside the dash, where the radio is there looks to be 2 screw holes. 1 on each side...I dont have the screws nemore since sum jackass broke into my car n jacked my radio...dono where the screws went, either took them or juss trashed them. But i was wondering, do I have to get screws from another cavy or can i juss go to sum hardware store or autozone n buy sum screws for it. Im looking to gettin a new dash this friday n having a radio put in but I need the screws to hold up the radio n dash kit. Is it a specific type of screw and wat size is it?

no more cavy...now 240 =]

I see a cool-air intake
It's got a NOS-fogger system and a T-4 turbo
I see an A.I.C. controller
It has direct port nitrous injection
Yeah, a stand-alone fuel management system
...Not a bad way to spend $10,000

as always, i think grabbing them off of another cavy would be your safest bet... but if you can't do that - i'm sure a hardware store would be able to help you out. i'm not exactly sure what kind of screws you would need, but i'm sure you could find similar ones there.

if i remember correct there should be 3 bolts that hold the radio in. they are the same type of screws that are used to hold the dash top on, and in most areas of the car. i would personally get some from another J but i wouldnt be surprised if you could pick up a pack of them at autozone etc.

best bet is to pull one out of the dash pad and take it to the store to compare. i know they have a small Torx head and the floating washer

hope that helps a little
