95-02 Dual Gauge Pod - A Pillar ?
Sunday, April 22, 2007 10:23 PM
Will someone please let me know if they have seen a place selling a full replacement A pillar with just two gauges. I have the guages I want and I dont really wanna purchase a third, but i dont want to have to glass a pod onto my pillar either. So if anyone is selling one, or knows a shop selling one, I would be interested in picking it up, thanks a lot

I've never seen a FULL pillar dual gauge holder. Just the full triple holders & the screw on dual holders.

I just bought a Pro Pod Gauge holder they have 2 and 3 pods...It is a layover that goes on your factory A pillar..I was very suprised it fit really well..to the point it looks factory...I did not use the plugs it came with to hold it on..What I did was roughed up both surfaces with sand paper..Then washed them down with wax and grease remover..Took silicon and applied it..attached it and taped it down across all edges to make it fit well..Left it over night..Got it painted and..that was it..My only problem with the whole thing is the gauges dont sit perfectly flush..So I had to do a little work for that but end result is great..

Just buy the one that mounts on the factory and mould it onto it

Yeah, but why bother when you can get a FULL overlay?

Or you could contact paul tjepkes and have him make you one into the dash. I am sure with just 2 guages he could do it so you still have at least one if not both of your vents still functioning. Here is a pic of his work......

I know its not a pilliar guage pod, but it is a little food for thought.

ONE WHAT?? LOL. If you mean the Tjepkes guage bezels, then yes he will make one no problem for it. Just PM him and let him know what you want. The 2 doors and 4 doors have the same guage bezel. Here is his profile on here. Just PM or Email him, and he will get back to you.
