Ive got a 95 cavalier 3spd no tach. I found a 95 3spd cluster with a tach. I know that when I do this swap I will have to relearn the passlock.

Will the procedure be the same way as stated in the FAQ? Because the FAQ says 96-99.

Also I am doing the mechanical odometer swap and ive taken the back off the cluster but
the odometer and its motor is covered partially by a piece of plastic attached to the body of the cluster.

It's preventing me from just pulling the cluster out. The trip meter was pulled out easily as it doesnt have the cover over it.

What did u guys do to get around this? Cut off that piece of plastic? I tried taking off the front but only the clear plastic cover comes off, no access to the odometer.
