I'm getting my cavs interior back into shape......its horrible, sunbleached and cracked.

I've searched around and found a few people in the past trying to find the part number for the massive major dash piece that always cracks and the many people who have asked got no answer and I also need the part number if anybody knows.( 2000 cav, drk grey) - I know it would be cheaper to get one from another car but I dont have the time or any good junk yard. I'll try car-part.com to see what they got.....

Also, I remember somebody in the past making a front dash piece that has some gauges in place of the the HVAC vents. Does anybody know who that is or where I can get one from?

Any help would be great.

Maybe there is a plastic dash cover that could go over your existing dash. I have heard of them but not sure how it would look in your car.

To be honest thats the last thing I want to do.....not to be difficult but I hate cover-ups and crap like that. I dont know why, it just bothers me.

do you mean in the center vents on the gauge bezel? or the front vent near the window?? either way im sure i could make you something

yeah know to replace that whole dash assembly im betting its going to be in the 400-600$ range from the dealer.


just go to any dealer parts department and tell them what you want and they can look it up for you.

Yeah I have a feeling car-part.com will need to be utilized along with crap loads of calling around....sigh.
