looks good did you take off the needles or did you just place film on the cluster itself?

I took the needles of, and used STAINED GLASS paint on the back side. Needles are lined up and working properly. I took a chance, since I bought a back-up cluster.

very good work then ... just make sure on its working right cause looks can be decieving with our clusters... Meaning that it looks like its functioning right but then it could be off a few while driving. Dont want you getting speeding tickets since the cluster is reading 55 and your doing 65... Get what im saying

Thanks - Have checked everything and all but one seems ok. The GAS GAUGE, lined up ok, I checked it twice (by plugging this one and the original in 3 times) but when I filled it up, the fneedle went past the line, so does the GAS LOW (check gauges) light come on by a sensor from the tank or the needle on the gauge (I hope tank)?

Nice job. The gas light comes on by the sensor, it has nothing to do with the needle, so you're ok
