Help Canadian trying to find socket for cluster color change
Thursday, May 24, 2007 3:18 PM
I read up everywhere and searched, I know I need 4x 1/2" light socket #85835. I already ordered two sets of led's but didn't know I'd have problems finding the sockets.Im in Montreal we don't have an Autozone. I tried Carquest but they're garbage. I know I could break and solder but I am looking for a quick change and the possibility of keeping working old parts incase. Searched google and ebay no luck.I tried online US stores but they don't ship to Canada. If anybody could help with info to a canadian store or online store would be great. Thanks

have you checked canadian tire? thats where I picked up mine. I'll see if I can find a product # for you...If necessary I could buy some and mail them to you, I'm in Winnipeg.

I haven't gotten around to going to canadian tire yet. I'll go tonight. It was on my list bbut I figured to check the real auto parts stores first. I searched some more online and think I found a possible GM part number but I know I'll be paying alot through the dealer. I also came across an online parts store that might ship to Canada, I'm just waiting for a reply from them. If they do I'll post the site and the GM part number. If not and I can't get the piece I would definetly appreciate the help Mr. Dirtbag. Thanks

Just pull the plugs out and push the bulb out. There is a small hole on the back of the plug that you can push a toothpick or something in.
