yeah, especially since that would crush your spine into a nice fine powder
I have mine attached to a 4 point cage by autopower, RKSport used to sell it... no clue if they still do or not
An idea I've been pondering...
If you are running the harness bar, the belts go over the bar to the rear seatbelt bolt to obtain the ideal angle.
What if you ran the harness over the bar to the front seat lower bolts, would that not also acheive the ideal angle, or is that still a bad idea...
i beleive you want the straps to be mounted higher then your shoulders. then the force of the accident wouldn't cause your spine to compress. if they are below your shoulders it will pull you down in an accident.
Ok, here's what I meant... the red line would be indicative of the multipoint harness, whereas the green line would be indicative of the stock seatbelt... note that both (even using the rear seatbelt bolt) all are anchored below the shoulder line.
not sure how much lower from the bolts the RDfabs bar sits, though
Reason I'm asking is I'm planning a rear seat delete that will no longer allow me to use the rear bolts for mounting harnesses.
why not just mount them to the harness bar
they aren't bar mount harnesses
