Hey guy's i was working on taking the back panels out of my car to paint them and one of the torx bolts that holds the seat belts in place stripped out on me. Any ideas? or am I completely screwed.
same thing happened to me, this is what i did...
spray some wd40 on it really good
get you a locking wrench [

get that thing as tight as you can and lock it
then just attack it, i had to pull pretty damn hard to get it started
good luck

lol. thanks man i figured maybe something like that. I was just worried it was too tight and i'd just be wasting my time with something like that, but if it worked for you, works for me.
I f'n hate torx bolts, that's why i replaced all the other ones (and will replace this one once it's out) with standard hex bolts. <---- Not entirely the SAFEST approach, but i've weighed that and i don't particularly care.
WEAR GLOVES!!!!
I was doing one with a torx bit and was tuggin really hard, the bit jumped out and i took a chunk out of my hand. Not fun.
