I was thinking of installing flush mount lights on the lower inside of my doors. What is your opinion and ideas
do you mean illumination lights....like that would go on when you open the door? i kinda like that idea

I would go with the Dome cause i did some LED's in my vents and its pretty cool when ever the dome light turns on so do my lights, ilike your idea r u making them yourself or r u buying them?
im doing this too this summer. i was thinking of two dif ways.
1) cut out a small square out of the bottom of the door panel and put a piece of plexi glass in it with some white led's behind it
2) put something like a sidemarker light on the bottom corner of my door panel
havnt decided yet, what u guys think?

i would take the led with the holders and just install them under the panel. They sell a kind from Radio Shack that has these little screw things on the back and it installs pretty flush. I bet it would fit in the small indentions under the panel for the factory screws.. Then you would have minimal mods with a good result.

I did Cathodes in the door pockets... they only turn on when the door is opened, that specific door. I previously had everything wired through a relay and it all came on with the dome.. but with the slow fade the relay kept clicking like crazy when the lights shut off. I scrapped that idea. Now it all comes on with my Alarm, minus the door pockets.
That would look cool under the door panels tho... never thought of that.
You could do what Mercedes does ... that would be kinda cool. Have the door sill light up and say "ecotec" or something of that nature, kinda like what Porsche does with the turbo, they have "turbo" light up when you open the door.
