Hey -- Im going through my interior and painting most of it, its going to be black, I might throw some red accents in it, but i dont know yet (its a red sunfire).
The problem I havent thoght of a solution for yet is the fabric thats on the door panels. Its the tweed stuff with a few different colors in it. Its not going to flow with my interior at all when its finished.
Anyone have suggestions on what to do about it? I was thinking of just taking it off and reupholstering it with some black fabric, which seems the most logical.
Im just looking for ideas is all, some of you guys have some outstanding stuff done to your cars, thought Id ask people who might be more creative than I..
thanks!
no need to even take the old fabric off...just cover over it. if the interior is painted black, id use something other than black to accent. tweed or maybe suede. check out these sites....get some ideas.

I think suede it is, Ive been pondering doing more in suede, If i do the door panels (the fabric area) in black suede, where else should I use it, to tie it into the car?
Console? In the back on the sub enclosure?
this is where im tied up now.
thanks for the info and sites joey!
i would say the door pocket inserts, behind the door handles(fillers), console lid, headliner/visors, rear deck.
thats where i would start!
Alrighty, Ill keep that in mind when I start the fabricing... I just got a new toy (mouse sander)... time for some more work!
Ill post pictures of progress later on tonite if I get a chance
